Soil moisture is a significant hydrological component that dynamic in nature. The variation soil the basin scale would affect vegetation, ecology and environment. trend analysis aids providing of over basin. present study aimed to analyse Lower Bhavani basin, Tamil Nadu from 2003-2022. Satellite-based Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS) data was extracted Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform period time. highest lowest observed during monsoon summer months its percentage studied. Using Man-Kendall test Sen’s slope, calculated for two decades (2003-2012 2013-2022). In 2003-2012, an increasing winter (October February); 2013-2022, both February) seasons (June September). remaining season did not follow any trend, there no decreasing moisture. will help monitor manage environmental system across
